Whopper send off
A funeral procession in Pennsylvania made an unusual stop on it’s way to the cemetery – at a local Burger King.
The family and friends of David Kime planned the stop-off to his favourite eating spot in Pennsylvania to celebrate his attitude towards life.
His daughter, Linda Phiel said: “He lived a wonderful life on his own terms.”
Mr. Kime died on January 20 aged 88. Despite being diabetic and having a pace-maker fitted, the World War II veteran was indiscriminate towards what he ate.
Everyone at the funeral was presented with a Junior Whopper burger. Even Mr. Kime himself was treated to a Whopper that was placed on his coffin.
