Zombies are taking over the world!

How would you fare if the dead began to rise up to attack and devour the living?

Would you break out the blunt objects and fight your way to a safe zone?

Or cower in a corner and wait for the cavalry?

Now more than ever, there are plenty of resources for you to learn how to cope with the stresses of a zombie apocalypse.

Zombies nowadays are big business. The undead have shuffled a long way since they first lurched onto cinema screens in 1932 in the first feature length flick White Zombie.

Over 80 years later, the living dead and the fear they conjure up for audiences has spread over all forms of entertainment; from literature to films, TV, games and even music (most notably, Michael Jackson’s Thriller).

1996 The Grammys again, but this time it would be the band Kiss (with the original members) that would be making the headlines. They appeared for the first time ever in their full make up and costumes.

Today is also ‘Rare Disease’ Day, run by the European Organization for Rare Diseases, to raise awareness about diseases that is not often publicised.

The first day of filming Dr. No, the first ever James Bond movie, starring Sir Roger Moore. The franchise celebrated it’s 50th year last year with the ‘Skyfall’.

1983 Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ went to No.1 in US Album Chart. It would end up being the biggest selling album of all time, with over 50 million copies sold.
